SAILING COURSES WINTER 2010-2011

Winter is approaching, but not the urge to go sailing ... !
RivieraVento The Sailing Center offers two courses of improvement of sailing to their students and to all those who wish to improve their navigation techniques, with objective safety and autonomy. All courses are held at the naval base of San Lorenzo al Mare (Imperia), easy to reach from London and with convenient parking.

Sailing Courses "Helmsman" : from 4 to 8 December (Immaculate Conception) a course in sailing "full immersion" of processing operations with objective of autonomy coastal navigation.
tacks and jibes, shortening sails in bad weather, use of the spinnaker / Spinnaker, maps, weather, navigation and planning are the main topics of the course.

Courses Sailing Offshore Skipper-: from 2 to 9 January 2011, a course in sailing and deep sea navigation, which will allow more experts to improve their technique, to get experience sailing at night and in bad weather, learning the techniques to operate with a reduced crew, milling hundreds of miles in an exciting winter sailing.
The course sailing for those who want to gain full autonomy as a "master", perhaps in view of the sailing holiday summer ...

The courses were held on fast and comfortable cabin of 11-12 meters on board there will be a maximum of 6 students with 2 instructors.

As courses are held in the Sanctuary of cetaceans, often make interesting observations of marine biology, dolphins sightings of large whales in the open sea.
