COURSE offshore sailing "on the route of Cetaceans"

an alternative to the usual cruise boat sailing to short routes inshore "hit & run" from port to port, our Sailing School offers, as every year, a cruise-school life at sea and sail with a more marinaressco, perhaps more challenging, and always fascinating.
open sea, even at night, where the crew took turns in the guard, and most experts assume the rotating command of the vessel (Under the supervision of our instructors, two instructors per boat).
Meteorology, use of navigation instruments, navigation, non-instrumental (without GPS but with the charts), night landings, anchorages, safety and emergency use of the spinnaker cruising the high seas: these are some of the topics that are usually covered in the course of navigation and will allow participants to gain confidence in conducting an independent boat.
The destination is defined by both skipper and crew after a careful assessment of weather maps, and can sweep across the northern Tyrrhenian Sea (Elba, the Strait of Bonifacio, Corsica, Canary Porquerolles), always within the Sanctuary of Cetaceans (often encounter in these voyages large cetaceans such as whales and sperm whales).
use a convenient and peformanente sloop of 12 meters, 4 cabins, set up for long voyages.
